San Diego Airport is situated in the middle of the city, between Old Town and Downtown San Diego. The airport is located west of the city centre.
How many terminals does San Diego Airport have?
The airport has two terminals, both consist of two parts (East and West). Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are connected by a footbridge, but only after the security check (airside). Outside, you can walk from one terminal to the other in 5 minutes. Terminal 1 is used by low-cost carriers and has 19 boarding gates (1A, 1 – 18). Terminal 2 has 32 boarding gates (20 – 51) and is used by full service carriers such as Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
