Tampa Airport, just like Orlando Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport, is widely used by low-cost carriers. British Airways, Lufthansa and Edelweiss Air offer direct flights from Europe to Tampa.

The airport has a central ‘landside’ terminal and four ‘airside’ terminals. The terminals where the boarding gates are located are named Airside A, Airside C, Airside E and Airside F and are all connected to the central ‘landside’ terminal by means of automated people movers. The check-in desks can be found in the Main Terminal, security check takes place in the ‘airside’ terminals.
