General information
Warsaw Aiport is the busiest airport in Poland, named after the famous Polish composer Frédéric Chopin. In 2017 Warsaw Airport handled more than 15 million passengers in one year, for the first time in history. The airport is a base for LOT, Wizz Air and holiday charters Enter Air and Smartwings Poland.
It is the airport’s intention to move charter flights to Radom Airport about 110 kilometres south of the Polish capital. This should be realized in the summer of 2023. The second airport in Warsaw is Warsaw Modlin Airport, mainly used by Ryanair.

Where is Warsaw Airport situated?
The largest airport of the Polish capital Warsaw is located on the outskirts of the city, southwest of the city centre. Both places are connected by road 634 (Zwirki i Wigury).
How many terminals does Warsaw Airport have?
The airport consists of one large terminal. In 2010, Warsaw Airport merged Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, now the entire complex is called Terminal A. In the southern part of the terminal (former T1) you will find check-in areas A, B and Arrivals 1 In the northern part of the terminal (former T2) you will find check-in areas C, D, E and Arrivals 2. LOT Polish Airlines uses check-in areas D and E.
