A newly constructed highway (sh. Koltsovskiy trakt) connects the airport with the city. It’s only a short drive into the centre of Yekaterinburg. You can cover the distance of 17 kilometres / 10.6 miles in 25 minutes.

Bus to Yekaterinburg

From the bus station at Koltsovo Airport you can catch several (mini)buses in the direction of the city. The best known by tourists is bus number 65 which runs to the central station of Yekaterinburg, called Yekaterinburg-Passazhirskiy. The price for a ticket is 28 RUB, for sale at the ticket office in Domestic Terminal. Bus number 65 runs every day of the week from the early morning until late evening, the bus runs every 30 minutes. A journey to one of the stops in the city centre is 45 to 60 minutes. You will reach your destination faster if you choose minibus number 01, this express service runs without stops to the main railway station in Yekaterinburg. The price for a ticket is 100 RUB, for luggage you will have to pay 20 RUB extra. Unfortunately, Koltsovo Express trains run only twice a day between the airport and the main railway station of Yekaterinburg.
