Bariloche or San Carlos de Bariloche is a small city in the west of Argentina, close to the border with Chile. The region around Bariloche is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the country, both in summer (water sports and hiking) and winter (skiing and snowboarding). One million tourists come to Bariloche every year, more and more by plane. Bariloche Airport is a well-arranged airport with connections to and from Argentina (especially Buenos Aires) and Brazil. Well-known places near the airport include Cerro Catedral, Cerro Otto and Nahuel Huapi National Park, Argentina’s oldest national park.

The airport is located in the west of Argentina’s Río Negro region, east of San Carlos de Bariloche. The airport is easily accessible via the Ruta Nacional 40 highway.

How many terminals does Bariloche Airport have?

Bariloche Airport has one spacious two-storey terminal. On the ground floor, you will find on the right International Arrivals and on the left Domestic Arrivals and the counters of the car rental companies. The airport information desk, check-in desks and security check are located on the first floor. Bariloche Airport has three boarding gates.
