Belarusian is linguistically a mix of Polish and Russian. Citizens from these countries understand the language, while they do not understand each other’s language. The capital Minsk is just a 3-hour drive from Vilnius in Lithuania. Minsk used to have two airports in the past. Nowadays only Minsk National Airport is operational.
