Belfast City Airport is located very close to the city centre. The airport is named after the famous footballer George Best, who was born in Belfast. Aer Lingus and British Airways offer flights to and from Belfast City Airport, not to and from the larger Belfast International Airport.

Belfast City Airport lies adjacent to Belfast Harbour, just northeast of the city centre. By car you can reach the airport via the A2 (Sydenham By-Pass / Belfast Road), which connects the city of Belfast and the town of Holywood.

The airport has a small and well-arranged terminal. In the terminal you will find 20 check-in desks on the left, Departures in the middle and Arrivals on the right.
