General information

Bergamo ‘Orio al Serio’ Airport is located in the north of Italy, right in the middle of Bergamo, Milan and Brescia. The third busiest airport in the country is an important hub for low-cost carrier Ryanair. Opposite the airport you will find Hotel NH Orio Al Serio, ideal for an early morning flight, and the modern Oriocenter shopping mall.

You can reach the airport via the Autostrada A4 (Torino – Trieste), Bergamo Airport is well signposted. The motorway connects the cities of Milan and Brescia, whereas Bergamo lies precisely in between.

How many terminals does Bergamo Airport have?

Bergamo Airport consists of a long, two-story terminal. On the ground floor (Piano Terra), you’ll find the check-in desks (+ self-service bag drop) on the right, and the Arrivals hall on the left. After arriving at the airport, you’ll reach the public area of the terminal via the baggage claim area. From here, it’s just a short distance to the bus stops, taxi rank and car rental counters. The security check is located on the first floor (Primo Piano), after which you’ll reach boarding gates A (A1 to A16, Schengen) and B (B1 to B11, non-Schengen). The new Departures hall at Bergamo Airport was put into service in November 2025.
