Bergamo ‘Orio al Serio’ Airport is located in the north of Italy, right in the middle of Bergamo, Milan and Brescia. The third busiest airport in the country is an important hub for low-cost carrier Ryanair. Opposite the airport you will find Hotel NH Orio Al Serio, ideal for an early morning flight, and the modern Oriocenter shopping mall.

You can reach the airport via the Autostrada A4 (Torino – Trieste), Bergamo Airport is well signposted. The motorway connects the cities of Milan and Brescia, whereas Bergamo lies precisely in between.

How many terminals does Bergamo Airport have?

Bergamo Airport consists of one long terminal with the check-in desks in the east (36 standard + 28 self-service bag drop), the Arrivals hall in the west and the security check in between. After the security check you will get to the Departures hall on the upper floor, where you can find the boarding gates and various shops, food and drink options. At Bergamo Airport you will find gates A1 to A16, the B gates (non-Schengen) are located after the passport control. After arrival at the airport, you will reach the public part of the terminal via the baggage claim area. Once you’re here, it is just a short distance to the bus stops, taxi rank and car rental counters.
