Bodø Airport is located in the north of Norway, just 2 kilometres / 1.2 miles from the city centre. The facilities of the commercial airport are shared with the military airbase Bodø Main Air Station. In 2030, Bodø will have a new airport 900 metres south of the current location. A new runway and terminal will be build, the current airport makes way for a new residential area in 2030.
