Bogota El Dorado Airport is Colombia’s largest and busiest airport, accounting for about 45% of the total number of passengers at airports in Colombia. The airport consists of two runways and two terminals. T1 is one of the most modern terminals in South America. Bogota El Dorado Airport is home to Avianca, the second oldest airline in the world (after KLM). LATAM Airlines, Clic Air, Satena and Wingo offer many flights to and from the airport as well. The airport was recently renovated to increase capacity to a maximum of 40 million passengers per year.

Colombia’s largest airport is located northwest of the historic city centre (La Candelaria). The airport is easily accessible by car via Avenida El Dorado.

How many terminals does Bogota El Dorado Airport have?

The airport consists of two terminals, Terminal 1 is used for international and domestic flights, Terminal 2 (Puente Aéreo / Air Bridge) for domestic flights operated by airlines Satena and Clic Air. T1 is a modern terminal with two piers and the shape of an “h”. A free satellite bus runs every 20 minutes from 05:00 hours to 23:00 hours between the terminals.
