General information

Boston Logan Airport is a major international airport on the east coast of the United States, consisting of six runways and four terminals (TA, TB, TC and TE). The airport has a fantastic location on the water and close to the centre of the city. American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and jetBlue provide many connections to and from Logan International Airport. A relatively large number of people of Irish, Italian and Portuguese descent live in Boston, which is why there are good connections with Ireland, Italy and Portugal. Boston Logan Airport is the largest airport in New England, a region comprising six states in the Northeastern United States: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Hilton Boston Logan Airport is the only hotel within walking distance of the terminals.

Where is Boston Logan Airport situated?

Boston Logan Airport is located in East Boston, east of Downtown Boston. From the west of Massachusetts, the airport is accessible via Interstate 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike).

How many terminals does Boston Logan Airport have?

The airport has four terminals, namely Terminal A, Terminal B, Terminal C and Terminal E. Terminal A consists of a main building and satellite terminal accessible via a pedestrian tunnel. American Airlines (Terminal B and E), Delta Air Lines (Terminal A and E) and jetBlue (Terminal C and E) are the main carriers at the airport. Between the terminals you can walk or use the free Massport On-Airport Shuttle buses (Routes 11, 22, 33, 55, 66 Water Transportation Dock, 88) which are available 24 hours a day.

Terminal E International Arrivals, also known as John A. Volpe International Terminal, serves as the international terminal, it handles the majority of the international arrivals. Four new gates (E13 – E16) were put into use in August 2023, currently Terminal E has 16 gates. Boarding gates A13 to A22 are located in a satellite terminal, it is a 5-minute walk via a pedestrian tunnel from Terminal A. A free shuttle bus operated by Delta Air Lines runs between gate A11 and Terminal E International Departures.
