The easiest way to travel from Brisbane Airport to the centre of Brisbane is by train. The airport service is called Airtrain, trains depart every 15 to 30 minutes. Both terminals have their own train station, known as Domestic Airport Station and International Airport Station. The price for a train ticket from both terminals to Brisbane Central Station is 19.80 AUD per person (airport fee included). You will receive a discount if you buy your ticket online. Train and tram to Gold Coast
It is also possible to travel by public transport from Brisbane Airport to Gold Coast, you’ll have to change once. First, you should take the train to Helensvale Station, a train ride that takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once arrived, you can change to the tram G:link (yellow colour), also known as Gold Coast Light Rail. It will take you to all the well-known places along the coast, including the stations of Main Beach, Surfers Paradise North, Cypress Avenue, Cavill Avenue and Surfers Paradise.
