Cochabamba Jorge Wilstermann Airport is the third largest airport in Bolivia, after and Santa Cruz and La Paz. The airport is named after Jorge Wilstermann, the country’s first commercial pilot. Many flight to and from the airport are operated by Boliviana de Aviación.

The airport is located on the outskirts of the city, southwest of the city centre. The busy highway RN4 (ruta nacional) that connects the west with the east of Bolivia is only a short distance from the airport.
