Kuwait
Kuwait is one of the thirteen countries in the Middle East, it shares a border with Saudi Arabia and Iraq. The country is an oil state, almost entirely dependent on the revenues from oil extraction. Kuwait’s largest company and one of the largest in the world is state-owned oil company Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, also known as Q8. 4.5 million people live in Kuwait, about 70% are originally from other countries. Many immigrants from India and Egypt live in Kuwait. Most of the people live in and around Kuwait City, the country’s capital. Kuwait has one large airport (Kuwait Airport) and two big harbours (Shuwaikh Port, Shuaiba Port). Kuwait Airport is the only airport for passenger flights in Kuwait, it is a modern airport with many international connections.
