Çukurova Airport is a new airport in southern Turkey, it replaced Adana Sakirpaşa Airport. The old airport was located only 4 kilometres / 2.5 miles from the centre of Adana and could not be expanded due to its location in a densely populated area. The new airport, opened in August 2024, is located between the cities of Adana and Mersin, a short distance from Tarsus. The airport has one terminal and a runway of 3,500 metres. Çukurova Airport is 290 kilometres / 180 miles from both Gaziantep Airport and Kayseri Airport.

The airport is located in the south of Turkey in Mersin Province between the cities of Adana and Mersin. Çukurova Airport can be reached by car via the D400 road and O-51 motorway.

The airport has one large and very modern passenger terminal. The capacity of the terminal is 9 million passengers per year. There is also a VIP terminal at Çukurova Airport.
