General information

The beautiful island of Djerba has an international airport, known as Djerba Airport and Djerba-Zarzis Airport. The airport consists of a terminal and a runway and is mainly used in the summer (June to September). The airport offers many connections to and from airports in France and Russia, Tunisair Express and Nouvelair offer domestic flights to Tunis-Carthage Airport. Most hotels and resorts in Djerba are located in the northeast of the island, in the so-called Zone Touristique.

Djerba Airport is located in the northwest of the island of Djerba, close to the sea. The island of Djerba is connected to the mainland of Tunisia via a bridge (Chaussée Romaine Djerba-Zarzis C117). Zarzis is accessible by car via road C117.
