Edinburgh Airport is the busiest airport in Scotland, named as the best airport in the country. Public transport between the airport and the centre of Edinburgh is well organized. The centre of the city is accessible by bus (Airlink and Airport Express), tram and taxi.

The airport is located on the western side of the city, where the M8 motorway and M9 motorway converge. From the city, the airport is easily accessible via the A8 road.

How many terminals does Edinburgh Airport have?

Edinburgh Airport has one runway and one passenger terminal. The terminal consists of two floors, the Departures hall is located on the first floor. The check-in desks and Arrivals hall (Domestic, International 1, International 2) can be found on the ground floor. The South East Pier (Gates 17-29) is accessible from the Main Terminal via a covered walkway.
