El Calafate Airport in the southwest of the province of Santa Cruz is the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park. It is a fantastic place in the deep south of Patagonia, consisting of high mountains, forests, steppes, glaciers (Viedma Glacier, Upsala Glacier, Perito Moreno Glacier) and lakes (Lago Viedma, Lago Argentina). It is one of the most beautiful places in Patagonia to enjoy nature and go hiking. Popular destinations near the airport include El Calafate near the Perito Moreno glacier and El Chaltén near the Fitz Roy mountain. London Supply owns the airport.

Where is El Calafate Airport situated?

The airport is located in the south of Argentina, east of El Calafate. Lago Argentina and the streets road 11 and Ruta 40 are near the airport.

How many terminals does El Calafate Airport have?

El Calafate Airport consists of a small terminal of two floors. On the ground floor you will find 14 check-in desks on the right and the Arrivals hall on the left. In the public part of the terminal you will also find shops, bars, desks of rental car providers and an ATM. Via the security check in the middle of the terminal you will reach the first floor, where the Departures hall (7 boarding gates) is located.
