Faro Airport, the airport of the Algarve, is located in the south of Portugal. In the summer Faro Airport can get very busy, many charters arrive at the airport from April till September. Faro Airport is the only international airport in the Algarve, the Portuguese region is especially popular among British, Irish, Dutch and Belgian tourists. The most popular destination near the airport is Albufeira, you can get there by taxi or bus.

Faro Airport is located west of Faro and surrounded by water and greenery. The airport is easily accessible through exit 13 of the A22 motorway and subsequently the IC4.
