Florence Airport is the second busiest airport in Tuscany after the famous Pisa Airport. The airport is small, has one runway and is located very close to the city centre. The airport serves as a focus city for Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling.

The airport is situated northwest of Florence. The location is good, close to the motorways Autostrada A11 and Autostrada A1, and the city centre.
