Fukuoka Airport is a major international airport in Japan on the southern island of Kyushu. The city of Fukuoka has two centres, namely Hakata on the right side of the Naka River and Tenjin on the left side of the Naka River. The airport consists of two terminals and one runway.

The airport is located in the east of the city, just east of Hakata and Tenjin. Fukuoka Airport is easily accessible by car.
How many terminals does Fukuoka Airport have?
The airport has two terminals known as Domestic Terminal and International Terminal (opened in 1999). Domestic Terminal is on the northeast side of the runway and International Terminal on the west side of the runway. The terminals are connected by free courtesy shuttle buses between 06:00 hours and 23:00 hours, which run every 5 to 10 minutes.
