Bus to Genoa

Volabus is a shuttle bus service operated by AMT Genova, which gives people the opportunity to travel easily between Genoa Airport and the city. Volabus departs from outside the Arrivals hall to Genova Brignole train station, one of Genoa’s two major railway stations. The other train station where the shuttle bus stops is Genova Principe. Between these two train stations is De Ferrari metro station at Piazza De Ferrari square, this is the most central stop in Genoa. Volabus leaves at least once every hour and takes 25 minutes to reach De Ferrari subway station. The price of a ticket is € 10.00 per person (METDaily), this ticket entitles you to travel for 24 hours on the AMT Genova network (Volabus, bus, metro, funicolari and ascensori). In Genoa, you will find multiple cable cars (funicolari) and lifts (ascensori) that are part of the public transport system. Bus and train to Genoa

The centre of Genoa is also accessible by a combination of bus and train. The new Airlink shuttle service leaves in front of the terminal to the nearby Genova Sestri Ponente railway station, where you can change to a train to Genoa and other cities. The bus service runs every 15 minutes between 06:00 hours and 22:00 hours. A ticket for the bus costs € 2.00 (bus) or € 2.20 (bus + train to Genoa), you can buy tickets in the Arrivals hall.
