Girona Airport is located in the northeast of Spain, close to the city of Girona (Gerona) and the Costa Brava. Low-cost carrier Ryanair offers many flights to and from the airport, therefore it can be a cheap alternative to Barcelona Airport.
Where is Girona Airport situated?
Girona Airport is located south of Girona and northeast of Barcelona. The airport is situated parallel to the AP-7 (Autopista del Mediterráneo), you can reach Barcelona via this motorway. Girona Airport is accessible by taking exit 8 of the AP-7, the airport is well signposted along the way.
How many terminals does Girona Airport have?
The airport has one terminal with two floors. On the ground floor (Floor 0) you will find the check-in desks and Arrivals hall. The Departures hall, security check and boarding gates are located on the first floor (Floor 1).
