Bus to Las Palmas
Bus number 60 operated by Global takes travellers twice per hour to and from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The airport bus stop is located in front of the Departures hall, the bus stops in Las Palmas can be found at the two bus stations of the city (San Telmo and Santa Catalina). Travel time to San Telmo Station is 30 minutes, while a journey to Santa Catalina Interchange takes 45 minutes. Only the bus that leaves at every quarter past from the airport runs to Las Palmas Santa Catalina.

A ticket to San Telmo Station in the city centre costs € 2.30, a ticket to Santa Catalina Interchange near the port of Las Palmas costs € 2.95. The last bus from Gran Canaria Airport departs at 23:15 hours, the first bus to the airport leaves Las Palmas at 05:15 hours. The popular resorts of San Augustin, Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas, are also accessible by public transport. Bus lines 1, 5 and 36 run between Gran Canaria Airport and the tourist destinations in the south of Gran Canaria. Bus line 1 of the public transport company Global offers the most frequent service, on weekdays a bus departs to and from the airport every 20 minutes. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays there is a bus every 30 minutes. A bus journey will take approximately 45 minutes.

Bus tickets are quite cheap, € 3.50 for a single trip to San Augustin and Playa del Inglés and € 4.05 for a ticket to Maspalomas. Bus line 66 and bus line 90 can also take you from Gran Canaria Airport to San Agustin, Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas. The last stop of all routes, with the exception of bus line 1, is bus station ‘Estación Faro de Maspalomas’. It is located next to the 19th-century lighthouse at the southernmost tip of Gran Canaria.
