Hanoi Noi Bai Airport in the north of Vietnam is the second busiest airport in Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat Airport in Saigon. Hanoi Noi Bai Airport is increasingly popular with tourists who want to visit Hanoi as well as Halong Bay and Sapa. The airport is the home base of flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and is also widely used by VietJet Air and Bamboo Airways. The airport consists of two terminals (T1 Domestic, T2 International) and two runways. An excellent accommodation near the airport with a free airport shuttle service is Paragon Noi Bai Hotel & Pool.
In T2 / International Terminal, right after the baggage reclaim area you will find Tourist Information desks where you can, among other things, arrange a taxi and buy a Vietnamese SIM card. In addition, there are maps of the city available, however you can’t make inquiries about public transport here.

The airport is located to the north of the city and is connected to the city by the modern Nhật Tân Bridge. Hanoi Noi Bai Airport is accessible by car via the A14 motorway (Vo Van Kiet Road).
How many terminals does Hanoi Noi Bai Airport have?
The airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 is used for domestic flights and the newer Terminal 2 for international flights. Terminal 1 consists of two buildings, the larger building C and the smaller building E. In the coming years, the capacity of Terminal 1 will be increased and a new terminal (T3) will be put into operation. Between terminals T1 and T2 of Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, free shuttle buses run every 10 to 15 minutes from early morning to late at night.
