Hanover Airport is located in the German state of Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) and is the second largest airport in Northern Germany after Hamburg Airport. There is a good and fast S-Bahn connection between Hanover Langenhagen Airport and the city. The airport’s train station (S-Bahnhof) is situated beneath Terminal C, one of the four terminals. Maritim Airport Hotel Hannover is located opposite the airport.

The airport is located north of Hanover in close proximity to the A2 and A7 motorways. The airport is accessible via exit 3 Hannover-Flughafen of the A352 and the Flughafenstrasse.
How many terminals does Hanover Airport have?
Hanover Airport has four terminals for passenger flights, namely Terminal A (6 gates), Terminal B (6 gates), Terminal C (8 gates) and Terminal D. TD is the smallest terminal and only used during peak times. Terminal D can be accessed via Terminal C Arrivals. Terminal A and Terminal B are next to each other with Airport Plaza in between, from here it is a 5-minute walk to Terminal C for flights to non-Schengen countries. In all terminals of Hanover Airport you will find the Arrivals hall on the lower floor E1 and the Departures hall on the upper floor E2.
