Helsinki Airport is located in the city of Vantaa, north of Helsinki. By car, the airport is easily accessible through Finnish national road 45 and the E18.
How many terminals does Helsinki Airport have?
The airport has one modern terminal. In recent years, the terminal has been expanded with a new Plaza (Aukio), West Pier, South Pier and T1 South Expansion. Helsinki Airport used to have two terminals, known as Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The capacity of the renovated terminal is 30 million passengers per year. The Arrivals hall is located on the first floor of the terminal, the Departures hall (Check In, Bag Drop and security check) can be found on the second floor.
