Hurghada Airport is the second busiest airport in Egypt, after Cairo Airport. Hurghada on the Red Sea is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the country. The airport is located south of the city. From the north and south the airport is easily accessible via the El-Nasr road.
How many terminals does Hurghada Airport have?
Hurghada Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 is the airport’s newest and largest terminal, opened in December 2014. Terminal 1 is easy to navigate, the check-in desks are divided into zone A (1-25), zone B (26-50) and zone C ( 51-76). Terminal 2 has an L-shape with Domestic Departures, Domestic Arrivals, International Arrivals and International Departures from left to right. Terminal 2 is located north of Terminal 1. It is possible to walk between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, but it will take you 25 to 30 minutes. In the hot sun it is better to take a taxi. At Hurghada Airport you have to take into account a couple of baggage and passport checks.
