Jaipur is a beautiful city in the north of India, together with Delhi and Agra it forms the “Golden Triangle”. Jaipur Airport is the busiest airport in Rajasthan, one of the 28 states in India. The airports in Udaipur and Jodhpur are much smaller and handle fewer passengers. Jaipur has 4.1 million inhabitants and is also known as “Pink City”. Jodphur has 2.4 million inhabitants, the city is known as “Blue City”. Jaipur Airport is conveniently located in India, a 1-hour flight from Delhi and a 2-hour flight from Mumbai.

How many terminals does Jaipur Airport have?
Jaipur Airport has two terminals, namely Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 2 (opened in 2009) is located north of the runway and used for domestic flights. The terminal consists of three floors, the Departures hall is located on the left (Gate 1 and Gate 2), the Arrivals hall on the right. After the check-in desks and security control you’ll get to boarding gates 1a, 1b and 1c on the ground floor, M1 on the first floor and 2 and 3 on the second floor. Terminal 1 is located south of the runway, further from the city centre. This terminal, specifically dedicated to international flights, reopened in October 2024.
