I was ROBBED, they opened the suitcase and stole everything you had that was most valuable, when you returned to your country you discovered this unpleasant surprise. I DO NOT recommend this airport.

I am hugely disappointed. Been waiting for 2 hours not gate 8 though. Whe I got there they just closed the door. SAFAIR refused to let me in. Had to pay R548 to book on next flight.
All they announce the whole time is Covid. What happened about friendly reminders that all passengers on flight FA101 should board at Gate 8. Or is that too much to ask?
This will never happen at Lanseria.

I was in transit through South Africa and because of delay in my flights my bags were sent down to the storage unit at the airport. When I went claim my luggage I noticed that my watches had been stolen from the case inside my bag. These are watches that I had acquired from my travels and the thought that someone had the time and access to rummage through my personal belongings is absolutely appalling. This are irreplaceable items. You need to thoroughly vet your people because you are hiring thieves.
