Katowice Airport is a former military airbase, used for passenger flights since 1966. The airport is a base for low-cost carriers Ryanair and Wizz Air, and charter airlines Enter Air and Smartwings Poland. On the first floor of Terminal B there are some restaurants and bars, as well as the counter of car rental company Panek. Terminal C is the Arrivals hall of Katowice Airport.
