General information

Kaunas Airport is the second airport in Lithuania, after Vilnius Airport. The airport started operations in 1988. Since 2005, Ryanair offers flights to and from Kaunas Airport, filling the gap regional airline Air Lithuania left behind. Opposite the terminal you can find Air Hotel, perfect for an early flight.

Where is Kaunas Airport situated?

Lithuania’s second airport is located near the village of Karmėlava, northeast of the city. By road, the airport is easily accessible via the A6/E262 motorway.

How many terminals does Kaunas Airport have?

The airport has one small and modern terminal, consisting of two floors. On the ground floor you will find the Arrivals hall and two ATMs. The check-in desks, security check and Departures hall are located on the first floor.
