Kaunas Airport is the second airport in Lithuania, after Vilnius Airport. The airport started operations in 1988. Since 2005, Ryanair offers flights to and from Kaunas Airport, filling the gap regional airline Air Lithuania left behind. Opposite the terminal you can find Air Hotel, perfect for an early flight.

Lithuania’s second airport is located near the village of Karmėlava, northeast of the city. By road, the airport is easily accessible via the A6/E262 motorway.
