Keflavik Airport is located in the western part of Iceland, close to the town of Keflavik and at some distance from the capital Reykjavik (50 kilometres / 31 miles). Icelandair is headquartered at the airport, the national flag carrier offers many connections to European and North American destinations. Most domestic flights depart from Reykjavik Airport, Iceland’s second busiest airport. Jet Nest in front of the terminal building is one of the many sculptures at Keflavik Airport.

Keflavik Airport is situated west of the capital of Iceland. The airport and Reykjavik are connected by Route 41 (Reykjanesbraut).

How many terminals does Keflavik Airport have?

Keflavik Airport consists of one large terminal, called Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal. The terminal is divided into two parts, namely Main Building and South Building.
