Bus Eireann provides public transport to and from Kerry Airport, there is a direct bus service to Killarney. This place is known as the starting point of the Ring of Kerry, a circular tourist route in County Kerry. For this reason, many tourists travel directly to Killarney after arrival. From Monday to Saturday bus number 14 leaves the airport to Killarney seven times a day, on Sundays and public holidays there are just a few buses available. A bus journey from Kerry Airport to Killarney Bus Station takes 30 minutes.

Bus 40 and bus 271 also follow this route, but only a few times per day. In the opposite direction these buses run to Tralee.
