Worst lunch I ever had! When I asked for glass of water to go with it, I was told that the water was unfiltered and that’s why they can’t give it, even though i needed it to swallow my medication. I was told to buy a bottle of water! The water which is € 1 in Dublin and Cork airports costs here € 2.50! Never again!
Kerry airport may have the latest body scanner - but it only hs one of them. Little wonder then that there were horrendous queues at security on bank holiday Monday.
I arrived early to drop off a l,couple of visitors. They almost missed their flight. I don't think they'll use Kerry airport again. Zero out of 10 for planning, efficiency, and, I'm afraid, courtesy.
Usually Kerry airport is okay. On June 5 it wasn't.
The airport was busy and they couldn't cope. Flights to Dublin and Stansted were delayed because of the time taken to get through security.
Many passengers were clearly distressed. The airport staff were stressed and surly. It was chaotic.
The airport must have known it was going to be a busy day. Why weren't they prepared? How could they have got it so wrong?
Small but functional airport . Ideal for me as I can’t walk far. Found it less stressful than other airports … didn’t have to get fluids and iPads out at scanner and they have an up to date body scanner that I could walk through with my pacemaker 👍. Small duty free but that doesn’t affect me
