Kraków Airport is located west of Kraków (770,000 inhabitants) in the village of Balice. The new terminal of Kraków Airport is connected to the train station and the airport’s parking garage. It is the second busiest airport in Poland based on the number of passengers, only Warsaw Airport is used more.

Kraków Airport is situated west of the city. The airport is easily accessible via exit Balice II of the A4 motorway.
How many terminals does Kraków Airport have?
On 28 September 2015 the new modern terminal was inaugurated, at the same time the new railway station of Kraków Airport was put into use. The terminal is a three-storey building. On the ground floor (Floor 0) you will find the Arrivals hall and check-in desks, the security check and Departures hall are located on the first floor (Floor 1, 18 gates). The airport’s railway station is accessible via Floor 1. On Floor 2 there is an observation desk.
TIP: Many well-known museums, sights and attractions require online reservations. If you plan to visit Auschwitz + Birkenau (incl. return trip from Krakow and guide) and Oskar Schindler’s Factory, the convenient Krakow Digital Pass is highly recommended! A 60-minute cruise on the Vistula River is also included.
