Bus to Arrecife

From Monday to Friday you can take bus line 22 to Arrecife, the bus leaves every 30 minutes from Terminal 1 via Terminal 2 and Playa Honda to Arrecife. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays you can take bus line 23, this bus runs every 60 minutes. Both bus services are operated by Intercity Bus Lanzarote. Bus line 22 links Lanzarote Airport to the bus station Intercambiador (Avenida Fred Olsen), along with ‘Estación de Guaguas’ one of the two major bus stations in Arrecife. The bus station Intercambiador is within walking distance from Playa del Reducto (main beach in Arrecife) and well-known hotels. The bus ride from Lanzarote Airport to the city centre takes 15 minutes, a ticket can be purchased from the bus driver for € 1.40. The popular resorts of Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca can be reached by bus line 161, the bus departs on weekdays every 30 to 60 minutes from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. On weekends and public holidays, bus line 161 runs less frequently, about once per hour. A bus ride to Puerto del Carmen takes 20 minutes, travel time to Playa Blanca is 50 minutes. A single one-way journey to Puerto del Carmen costs € 1.40, the price for a bus ticket to Playa Blanca is € 3.30.
