General information
Lille Airport is located in the far north of France (Hauts-de-France), close to the Belgian border. The airport handles about 2 million passengers per year.
The cities of Lille (250,000 inhabitants), Roubaix, Tourcoing and Villeneuve-d’Ascq are close to the airport. About 100,000 people live in Roubaix and in Tourcoing. Villeneuve-d’Ascq is a place where many students live, here you will find two campuses of Université de Lille: Campus Cité Scientifique and Campus Pont de Bois. Via exit 20b Aéroport Lesquin (from the north) and exit 20 Lesquin (from the south) of the A1 or exit 1 Lesquin of the A23 you can reach the terminal and car parks of Lille Airport.
