The city of the world famous rock band The Beatles and football clubs Liverpool FC and Everton FC has its own airport south of the city. Where is Liverpool Airport situated?
The airport is southeast of the city centre and accessible via the M57, M62 and M56 motorways. If you want to get to the airport from the city of Liverpool you can travel via the A561 or A562. Liverpool Airport is easier to access since the opening of the new Mersey Gateway Bridge, a toll road (£ 2.00) between Runcorn and Widnes.
