Ljubljana Airport is the only international airport in Slovenia, Maribor Edvard Rusjan Airport is currently not in use. The airport has one terminal and one runway, and is named after intellectual Jože Pučnik. The airport is operated by Fraport Slovenija. The centre of Ljubljana can be reached by bus and taxi.

The airport is situated north of Ljubljana (Laibach). The most convenient way to access the airport is via exit 9 or exit 10 of the E61 motorway.

The airport has a modern and well-arranged terminal. The renovated terminal of Ljubljana Airport officially opened in July 2021. The terminal consists of a new part (Terminal A) and an old part (Terminal B). The check-in desks and Arrivals hall are located in Terminal A.
