London Luton Airport is one of six London airports and is mainly used for flights within Europe. It is the fifth busiest airport in the United Kingdom. People can travel between the airport and London by train, bus and taxi. Thameslink and Luton Airport Express provide a direct train link between London Luton Airport (Luton Airport Parkway Station) and the city centre. The vast majority of flights are operated by low-cost carriers easyJet, Wizz Air and Ryanair.

Where is London Luton Airport situated?

London Luton Airport is located northwest of London, within a close range of Luton with approximately 225,000 people living there. The airport is conveniently located near the M1 motorway. You have to exit at Junction 10 and take the A1081 (New Airport Way) in order to reach the airport.

How many terminals does London Luton Airport have?

London Luton Airport has a terminal consisting of two floors and three piers (boarding areas). On the ground floor you will find the Arrivals hall on the left, the check-in desks (1 – 61) on the right and the security check in the middle. The terminal has two entrances and plenty of food and drink options, both before and after the security check. After the security check you have to go up one floor and it is a maximum of 15 minutes to walk to your boarding gate.
