Malta Airport is located in the middle of the island of Malta, one of the three inhabited islands of the Maltese archipelago together with Gozo and Comino. Malta Airport is home to KM Malta Airlines and a major hub for Ryanair (Malta Air). The airport is known as one of the best airports in Europe.

The airport is located south of Valletta, Malta’s capital city situated on the Mediterranean Sea. There are no motorways in Malta, the airport can be reached by regional roads through densely populated areas.

How many terminals does Malta Airport have?

Malta Airport has one terminal consisting of three floors. The check-in desks and Arrivals hall are located on the ground floor Level 0. The Departures hall and a total of 18 boarding gates can be found on the first floor Level 1. At Level -1 is a Food Court with direct access to the Main Car Park.
