Menorca Airport is the only airport serving the Balearic island of Menorca and is located in the southeastern part of the island. The name of the island is also written as Minorca. Since 2012, the official name of the capital is Maó-Mahón, sometimes only Maó (Catalan) or Mahón (Spanish) is used.

The airport is situated southwest of the island’s capital Maó-Mahón. Close to Menorca Airport is the road Me-1, which connects the west (Ciutadella de Menorca) and the east (Maó-Mahón) of Menorca.

The airport has a modern terminal with four floors. The Arrivals hall is located on the ground floor (Planta Baja), the check-in desks on the first floor (Planta 1), the Departures hall on the second floor (Planta 2, boarding gates 1 to 16) and the VIP Lounge on the third floor (Planta 3).
