Milan Linate Airport is located close to the city centre, especially in comparison to Milan Malpensa Airport (50 km) and Bergamo Airport (52 km). The airport is named after the small town of Linate in Peschiera Borromeo and is widely used for domestic traffic (ITA Airways). Since November 2022 it is possible to travel by metro to and from Milan Linate Airport.

The airport has one passenger terminal consisting of three floors, located north of the runway. The Arrivals hall is located on the ground floor, the Departures hall on the first floor. After the security check, escalators will take you to gates A1 to A16 and gates B25 to B28 on the ground floor. Boarding gates A17 to A21 (five jet bridges) are located on the first floor of Milan Linate Airport.
