Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport is a big airport in the north of Kazakhstan, a new international terminal (T1) opened in 2017. The airport is mainly used by Air Astana and SCAT Airlines, two airlines from Kazakhstan. In March 2019, the name of the capital of Kazakhstan changed in honour of Nursultan Nazarbayev from Astana to Nur-Sultan, the name of the airport changed as well.

Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport is located south to the modern capital of the country. The M36 motorway is located near the airport, which is a major thoroughfare in Kazakhstan.
How many terminals does Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport have?
The airport has two terminals since the summer of 2017, when the new international terminal T1 was inaugurated. T2 is now only used for domestic flights. The terminals are next to each other and have both six jet bridges.
