The airport is mostly used by people who want to visit Walt Disney World Resort (Magic Kingdom Park, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios) and/or the beautiful beaches of Florida. Orlando Airport serves as a hub for low-cost carriers Southwest Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Spirit Airlines and jetBlue. In the central hall (Atrium) between Terminal A and Terminal B you have access to Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport Hotel, it is the only hotel at the airport. Another airport close to the city is Orlando Sanford Airport, a hub for Allegiant Air 45 kilometres / 28 miles from Downtown Orlando.

Orlando Airport is located in Florida, southeast of the city of Orlando. By car, you can reach the airport via State Road 528 (Martin Andersen Beachline Expressway) and State Road 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay).
How many terminals does Orlando Airport have?
The airport has a central hall (Atrium) consisting of two terminals, Terminal A in the north and Terminal B in the south. In addition, there are four satellite terminals that can be accessed with automated people movers via Level 3, Airside 1 (Gates 1-29) and Airside 2 (Gates 100-129) from Terminal A, Airside 3 (Gates 30-59) and Airside 4 (70-99) from Terminal B. The check-in desks can be found in Terminal A and Terminal B. The security check is located in the west and east of the terminals, namely East Security Checkpoint To Gates 1-59 and West Security Checkpoint To Gates 70-129. Airside 4 at Orlando Airport is mainly used for international flights, from Airside 1 (jetBlue), Airside 2 (Southwest Airlines) and Airside 3 (Frontier Airlines, Spirit Airlines) you can fly to domestic destinations. In September 2022, Orlando Airport opened a third terminal, Terminal C south of TA and TB. The new terminal has 15 gates, 1 lounge and a capacity of 12 million passengers per year. Terminal C is connected to Terminal A and Terminal B by an automated people mover.
