Osaka Itami Airport is an airport at a short distance from Osaka, the largest city in Japan after Tokyo and Yokohama. The airport is only used for domestic flights, Osaka Kansai Airport southwest of the city is used for domestic and international flights. Kyoto is one of the largest cities in Japan, but does not have its own airport, Osaka Itami Airport is the closest airport. Most flights at Osaka Itami Airport are operated by All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines (JAL).

Where is Osaka Itami Airport situated?

The airport is located northwest of Osaka, partly in the cities of Itami, Toyonaka and Ikeda. Osaka Itami Airport is easily accessible by car, there are many highways in close proximity to the airport. The popular Cup Noodles Museum Osaka Ikeda is located close to the airport terminal.

How many terminals does Osaka Itami Airport have?

The airport has two runways and one terminal. The terminal of Osaka Itami Airport is divided into three parts, namely North Terminal (Japan Airlines, Amakusa Airlines), Central Block (Arrivals 2nd floor) and South Terminal (All Nippon Airways, Ibex Airlines). The check-in desks are located on the ground floor, the security check and Arrivals hall can be found on the first floor (2F Departure/Arrival Floor). The terminal of Osaka Itami Airport has five floors. On floor 4F there is a beautiful rooftop observation deck, accessible to everyone free of charge.
