Took my nailtwizzers and my lighter, hole luggage was ripped appart 3times. No drinks. Only a machine with coke zero available.

They steal!
It is what it may seem as an american base that's has been repurposed for international flights. They really do not want you to have your carry-on luggage with you, and once you surrender it they'll rummage through it and take what they think is of value. In my case, they took my antacids: apparently, they have an affinity for all that looks like a blue pill.
Otherwise a pretty chaotic operation, with all the scans and verifications you would get at any other airport, but of much lower standards. Not an experience I would want to duplicate any time soon.
