Worst airport of the world. Such a shame for a capital city like Paris to have a third class airport. Besides constant, omnipresent maintenance and other kind of works, with seemingly half of the elevators and mechanical stairs off working.. endless walks, poor information providing (eg at T1 to get to Cgdval train) poor services and shops and restaurant offering .. chaotic handling of passenger flows at arrivals with many dishonest and false taxi drivers offering services ..and tue most unbelievable, appalling thing ..: NO decent lounges available (a part from the Air France lounge at 2f) .. this airport is supposed to welcome half the world for the Olympics ?? A bad joke…

Forget about wheelchair assistance. You're likely to miss your flight!

After years of avoiding travelling through this airport, I was unlucky again today and had a 2.5 hours transit through CDG airport today. All reviews are on the spot, staff are rude, airport badly run and not organized… and they have the audacity to categorize it 4 stars airport… for what exactly? More than 30 minutes in a bus with no indication if we are heading in the right direction towards the right terminal and on the way we saw detention buildings with barbed wires…any idea what is going on there or media is allowed to report on human rights violations in “first world countries”

Verg distant and distracting airport, rude and arrogant staff. Very bad experience, I do not recommend.

Horrible staff at this airport. I was travelling with my terminally ill husband and had confirmed by my airline that he would get assistance, when landing at CDG, all the way from the plane through the airport. No assistance available, everyone I asked said “Not my job” or Go away, you can’t stop here”. Not looking me in the eyes but over my head, just to make it clear that we did not matter. I found a office desk chair and rolled my husband as far as possible on that. But there are stairs and everyone said there was no lift so he had to walk. He collapsed to the floor and I was crying. I asked a security guard to call emergency services but he said he did not know the number and left us there, saying we were keeping other people from moving around. We made it out of there alive but my husband’s oxygen machine overheated in the process so now we are very vulnerable on our city break as we now have only one battery to go on, no spare battery as one overheated. So you, staff at CDG, have no empathy and it was pure luck my husband did not die there.

I travelled from CDG June 2023. I have been to this airport over 20 times in the past 25 years and sadly the experience gets worse each time. The staff at the airport are fine the problem is that the airport struggles to cope with the amount of people that use CDG each day. Very poorly organised by airport management considering Paris has long been the most visited city on earth. It left me with the impression the French coffers might be empty.

Concur with all the above reviews absolutely the worst airport on the planet. Heaven help them when the Olympics come to town next year.

Worst airport. Long line, multiple checkpoints, poor signs, nobody to ask, bus ride between terminals hard to hold on and people falling on each other. Love France but horrible airport

Horrible airport. I am 87 yrs old disable woman and getting some help from any employee at this airport is impossible. Very rude, unprofessional and right out mean.

Worst airport ever.I flew from Malta to CDG airport terminal 2D and had a connection flight to the Azores .Had to change terminals from 2D to terminal 1 .Followed the sign and ended up in a dead end with an airport official who barely speaks English .After some sign language me and my wife got on a bus which took us to terminal 1 .When we left Malta we were instructed that we had to do check in even though we were in transit .We proceeded to the departure monitors to check our flight and gates to be sure the check in was open but nothing .I asked a lady wearing an airport vest maybe she can help us out but she was so arrogant and refused to even talk to us .All she said is exit exit exit .Ok may be she was in her period.I tried to check in on line to avoid all this nonsense .As a frequent flyer i know for a fact you can print a boarding pass at the gate in such circumstances but to no avail .After going around in circles and asked many personnel i needed to find the exit .Signs do not exist and if you find any it will be located in some blind spot .Finally we saw theses guys in a boot and we assumed they were tourist info desk .We approached the guys and it was like chasing flies from a shit pile .Only one of them tried with broken English to help us and all we understood is Gate 51.We thanked the Gentleman and the task of finding gate 51 from the bus drop off area was impossible .Lack of signs again .After almost 3 hrs we reached a security pass and we asked at the boot if this gate 51 usually is reserved for Azore airlines .Ok so this was it .We ran like crazy because the flight was due in an hour .We reached another check point and this was the cherry on the cake .Arrogance on another level .They asked for the boarding pass to be scanned .I told them we were in transit and the boarding passes were to printed at the gate as per usual routine .I showed him all the information on my mobile phone with names tkt numbers etc .He our hand luggages from the conveyer and went to talk to his supervisor which without even looking to phone she promptly replied no no no. I asked what was the problem but she refused to even make eye contact let alone give us a decent answer .Go exit check in .We ran to find the check in for the last time and finally we found the exit and found this beautiful soul who came with us some 2 stories down and all the way to the check in .If it was not for this guy we are sure we would have lost the flight .While checking in i told the desk supervisor what happened and her excuse was may be they are new to the job .Yeah right may be all the arrogant personnel whom we asked for help were new or had their period .We grabbed the boarding passes and walked back again the way back .The grand finale .We arrived at the hates check point and as soon as we approach the same guys they change positions and the Lady to refused to let us in was so difficult with us that even the travelers who saw the drama unfolding started to tell her whats wrong with her .We boarded the plane after 4 .5 hours .

28th of January I was traveling with emirates, T1 CDG it was a very bad experience ever I had , I lost £800 from my hand bag , not first time my brother lost his laptop few months ago on the same terminal so I would advise everyone to be careful when you travel from this place , seems like some thief’s in the security check up team !!!! Beaware of thief’s there

Worst airport experience! Endless lines. Staff there to tell you to stand in line but not enough staff processing passports or checking in. Over 2 hours and didn’t make it to security

Without doubt the slowest and least efficient major airport in the world! I travel globally, and have never had a good experience travelling through or to/from CDG. Flight from Paris to UK today and passport and boarding card CHECKED 4 TIMES ! Security is chaos and takes a long time to get through (allow at least 30 mins on a quiet day). Even catering where people are trying to hand over money as secondary income for the airport is terribly slow - when you manage to walk for ever to find an outlet open. Train into central Paris down last 2 times I have travelled there on a Sunday (trips 10 months apart) meaning bus trips and walks through suburbs. Airport itself is a largely concrete monstrosity with large walking distance and tons of steps/escalators up and down. Must be a complete nightmare for ambulant disabled. Whole Airport experience for UK travellers is a great advert and incentive to use Eurostar if travelling to Paris. AVOID IF YOU CAN !

Traveled on First class on Cathay Pacific. Showed my boarding pass to the staff at “access no1 channel” (transit), he didn’t even look at my boarding pass and directly refused me as I was having an infant with me. Then I pointed him again my boarding pass with the “First” word, he still didn’t want to let me go. I said I have priority. He asked me in return “You have priority?!”. He didn’t want to believe me until he tried scanning my boarding pass. Such an unprofessional attitude.

When I arrived with my disabled wife I had told Air France that we would need assistance. 1/ we go no assistance at all 2/ the staff where aggressive arrogant 3/the staff just seemed to put you in a queue and let u fight for a spot4/all staff looked like they where zombies no idea what they where doing 5/also the self service putting your your luggage through was like doing a rubic cube so if you are over 70 you’ve no chance it’s a joke 6/ I’ve travelled the world Charles de Gaul airport and staff are a joke it’s a circus if I could give it zero I would but ones the lowest .
