The free automatic shuttle train Orlyval connects the stations Orly 1-2-3 and Orly 4 with Antony Station, from where you can travel to the city centre by RER train line B. A ride on the Orlyval takes 7 minutes, the shuttle train service departs every 5 to 7 minutes. Travel time is short from Antony to the centrally located stations of Saint-Michel Notre-Dame (17 or 22 minutes) and Châtelet – Les Halles (19 or 24 minutes). RER train line B runs approximately every 10 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the Orlyval stations at Paris Orly Airport, a combined ticket for the Orlyval and RER train line B costs € 13.00 for a single journey. Metro to Paris
Since June 2024, Paris Orly Airport is accessible by metro. Metro line 14 connects the airport with Saint-Denis-Pleyel close to Stade de France in the north of Paris. You can get off at Gare de Lyon, Châtelet, Pyramides, Madeleine and Gare Saint-Lazare among other stations. The journey time to Châtelet in the centre of Paris is 26 minutes, metros depart every 2 to 5 minutes in the direction of the city centre and Paris Orly Airport. The new Aéroport d’Orly metro station is located in front of the terminal a short distance from Orly 2 and Orly 3, from Orly 1 and Orly 4 it’s a 6 to 7 minute walk. Tickets are available online and from the ticket machines at the stations. For the metro to or from Paris Orly Airport, you pay a special rate instead of the normal rate, namely € 13.00 for a single journey. It is possible to travel from Paris Orly Airport to the centre of Paris for only € 4.50 per person.The first step is taking tram 7 from Aéroport d’Orly to Villejuif – Louis Aragon, where you can change to metro line 7 to reach the centre of Paris. The tram stop at Paris Orly Airport is small and within walking distance of Orly 4, you can get there via a footbridge. Villejuif – Louis Aragon can be reached in 31 minutes, travel time with metro line 7 to Châtelet in the centre of the city is 20 minutes.
